Compactgrain, long-term abrasive for a very high workpiece surface quality and uniform surface roughness with high gloss levels. CK918X features a continuous self-sharpening effect over its entire, very long lifetime and reduces grinding costs due to fewer tool changes.

**IMPORTANT NOTE: COMPACTGRAIN MATERIAL COMES FROM A VERY DIFFERENT AND UNIQUE PROCESS THAT GIVES IT A VERY ROUGH INITIAL APPEARANCE. A SHORT "BREAK-IN" PERIOD IS NECESSARY TO OPEN THE GRAIN SURFACE AND EXPOSE THE WORK SURFACE. BRAND NEW BELTS LOOK MUCH ROUGHER BEFORE USE AND CAN APPEAR TOO COARSE BECAUSE OF THE NATURE OF THE MATERIAL.
